MEET PODSIE

Podsie is a tool that will be able to sense the weight of a user’s laundry load and through that measure the correct amount of powdered detergent needed and compact that amount  of  powder  into  a  convenient  pod  for  the  user  to  carry  to  their  laundry  machine.   Through  this, the user will no longer need to worry about how much detergent they will need for their dynamically changing laundry load.  The user will also be afforded the same convenience and portability of the popular liquid detergent pods, in contrast to carrying an additional detergent container with them on  their  trek  to  a  laundry  facility.   And  whilst  the  user  is  afforded  all  of  these  conveniences  the  laundry machines are no longer given surplus amounts of detergent, allowing them to have much shorter cycle times thus using less water, consuming less energy in heating water, and ultimately emitting less carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
